1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to KabaleOnline Services ("the Platform"). These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and services. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use our service.

2. Our Role as a Platform

KabaleOnline Services acts as a neutral venue to connect users seeking services ("Clients") with users offering services ("Providers") in Kabale and the Kigezi region. We are not a party to any agreement, contract, or transaction between users. We do not hire, employ, or endorse any user, and we are not responsible for the performance or quality of the services rendered.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account.
• You agree not to impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
• Using the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, national, or international law.
• Harassing, threatening, or defrauding other users.
• Attempting to circumvent any payment methods or communication tools provided by the Platform.
• Distributing spam or collecting other users' information without their consent.

5. Payments and Fees

All financial transactions are handled directly between the Client and the Provider. KabaleOnline Services is not involved in the payment process and does not charge any commission on services rendered. Users are solely responsible for agreeing on payment terms and ensuring payment is made or received.

6. Disputes Between Users

Any disputes that arise between a Client and a Provider regarding a service, payment, or any other matter are to be resolved directly between those parties. KabaleOnline Services may, but has no obligation to, provide mediation or assistance. We strongly encourage users to communicate clearly and use the review system to build trust within the community.

7. Termination of Account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is otherwise harmful to other users of the Platform, our partners, or us.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is." KabaleOnline Services and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangibles, resulting from your use of the service or any interaction between users.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
